Comedian and author David Walliams parted ways with longtime publisher.
Prolific children's author and comedian David Walliams has parted ways with his longtime publishing house, the company has said.
A spokesman for the company said: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the conclusion was made after an investigation into reports of conduct deemed unsuitable directed at women.
The publisher declined to specify the reasons for its decision, adding: "We do not comment on private personnel issues."
A Highly Successful Publishing History
Walliams stands as a most successful children's authors, boasting over over six tens of millions of copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins in 2008.
A number of his books, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into small-screen adaptations.
His bibliography includes over four dozen titles in total, which features a festive story named *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins last autumn.

His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE several years ago in recognition of his work for philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This move occurs subsequent to the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive in October.
