The former president's Family Member Gets Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer preparing for significant tournament

This young athlete has substantial social media presence

Kai Trump can count on plenty of high-profile backers when she starts her LPGA debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and often plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she revealed.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He practically suggested to play and relax," she added.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has participated in only three events in 2024 and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, who is dating Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's a more impressive human being. He told me to go out there, have fun, following the flow."

She'll challenge several most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to wider groups, specifically among youth audiences.

Kai maintains substantial online presence and recently launched a personal clothing and lifestyle company.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
