Two individuals are now facing charges following a luggage theft where a substance thought to be capsaicin spray led to people being hurt at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an probe of an assault at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on the weekend. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their luggage taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A three-year-old girl was one of the people hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – which authorities stated was a standalone event and deemed non-terroristic – caused train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
